Our raw Australian Manuka Honey is packed with powerful nutrients to support your health. At an MGO count of 50+ it's not a high count but it is bioactive, meaning it has Antibacterial, Antimicrobial, Antiviral, Antioxidant, Anti-inflammatory and Antifungal properties. Manuka is also commonly known as Jelly Bush due to its thick consistency.
This honey has been produced with minimal filtering and is packed with naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
All raw honey or pure honey encounters some candying, especially with cold extraction processes, because heat destroys the capacity for crystals to grow - and all the goodness with it. It can also happen as the weather gets cooler or honey is stored in the fridge. It is a good sign that your honey has not been blended or heat damaged (pasteurised) if crystals appear.
If you prefer your honey runny, simply place the container in a hot water bath or leave on a sunny window for a couple of days, but please never microwave honey.
